To create and use instances on our platform you need a Genesis Cloud account. If do not have one already you can choose to either use an email and a password chosen by you or to use your Google or GitHub credentials for Single Sign On (SSO).
Creating your account
In order to create your account visit our website and click Sign up. You should be seeing the following screen:
The Sign up screen shows the option to either sign up using an email password pair or SSO
You can choose to create your account either using an email or using SSO credentials from either Google or GitHub.
Important: You later cannot change your chosen login method. If you sign up using SSO you will always have to use your SSO credentials. Please note, it is also not possible to set up two factor authentication (2FA) when you are logged in with Google SSO or GitHub SSO.
Note: After choosing your preferred method and entering your credentials you will be prompted to enter a phone number. Use the code you receive on this phone number to verify it is your own number. This will activate your account.
Email and Password
Add your credentials, check the reCAPTCHA checkbox and click Sign up.
Google SSO
Click on “Sign up with Google”. You will be redirected to a Google page with a list of your accounts. Choose your preferred account. Proceed with your Google sign up.
GitHub SSO
Click on “Sign up with GitHub”. You will be redirected to GitHub to choose your preferred account. Proceed with your GitHub sign up.
Signing into your account
In order to sign into your account visit our website and click Sign in. You should be seeing the following screen:
